The Polymer Science Group is involved in a variety of research areas, such as nickel extraction from natural ores using novel polymer additives, nanoparticles in advanced automotive and industrial coatings, synthesis of architecturally complex macromolecules and degradable polymers, honeycomb films with micron-sized features, micro/nanoparticle reinforced thermosetting systems, polymers in evaporation mitigation technologies, CO2 separation membranes, modification of natural proteins, tissue engineering and surface modification with biomacromolecules.
