Postgraduates: PACE Soccer on Fridays

Time: 4.30pm

Location: University Square (Above the car park, south of Grattan St, between Barry and Leicester Sts)

Everyone who is interested in having a kick around (with or without a team) - you are welcome. If you don't have a team, we'll put you in one - there will be subtitutes etc. as well.

There will be only the 1 game with 20 minute halves - if there is more interest than anticipated than we can always have 2 games of 10 minute halves.

The game at this stage has the following special rules deviating from normal soccer:

• No footy shoes at all - sneakers/ loafers only
• Definitely non-contact - no biffo allowed
• No offside
• Four from each team on the field at a time (with as many subs as necessary)
• The field is about the size of 2 basketball courts
• No throw-ins - only free kicks
• You can't score from your team's half
• No goalie or floating near goals allowed (goals are small - about 1.5 m wide, 1 m high)
• 20 minute halves
