Postgraduates: endnote

For information of anyone with an interest in EndNote.

The University of Melbourne now has a site licence that allows staff, students, affiliates and associates to install and run EndNote on university or home computers. The software is available from the university's FTP server and on an installation CD for overnight loan from libraries.

FTP Server:

Download EndNote 6 for PC, EndNote 6 for Macintosh OS X, EndNote 5 for Macintosh OS 9. The site includes guides for getting started with EndNote and for importing references from databases. Restricted to computers directly connected to the University of Melbourne network via the university's dial in service or connected through an internet service provider that allows use of the university inbound proxy setting; more information about the inbound proxy at http://www.its.unimelb.edu.au/ibproxy

CDs on Overnight loan

Libraries on all of the University of Melbourne campuses have EndNote installation CDs available for overnight loan. Please see library staff at loans desks. CDs have EndNote 6 for PC, EndNote 6 for Macintosh OS X, EndNote 5 for Macintosh OS 9. In addition each disk has guides to importing references, a list of EndNote web sites and the EndNote manual (pdf)
