Rob's research interests are in synthesis of dispersants for advanced applications, assessment of ageing effects in polymeric flocculants, synthesis, characterization and evaluation of fluorescent polyelectrolytes.

Rob is a member of the Particulate Fluids Processing Centre (PFPC), a Special Research Centre of the Australian Research Council (ARC).
